This Taco Ranch Dressing is so easy to make, and it’s ready in just 5 minutes. It will add a tasty southwestern flare to all of your favorite summer salads.
This is the time of the year that I eat a ton of salads. One, because I am quickly realizing I will be at the pool with the kids in less than a month. Also, because I am not a big beef or meat eater. So when grill season comes along I always have a salad to go with our meal, and the meat ALWAYS ends on up on top of my salad.
My husband and kids love ranch. I would also say that “love” is an understatement. They are obsessed with ranch. My husband in fact will judge a restaurant by their ranch. If we are trying a restaurant for the first time he will ask to sample their ranch, this determines most of the time if we stay or not. It used to embarrass me, now I just embarrass us because I have found this method to work.
So to mix it up a bit, I decided to make a twist on my family’s favorite dressing.
With cilantro, jalapeno, and taco seasoning, this Taco Ranch Dressing takes less than 5 minutes to make, and you won’t be disappointed. Add a twist to your salad tonight with this Taco Ranch Dressing.
Enjoy! XOXO San
How do you make Taco Ranch Dressing?
In a blender or food processor add jalapeno, cilantro, and taco seasoning, Ranch Dressing seasoning packet, milk, mayo, and sour cream.
Puree on high until smoother and creamy. Add additional salt and pepper to taste.
Pour into a mason jar or dressing bottle. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
A few of my favorite kitchen tools used to make this Taco Ranch Dressing
BLENDTEC: I love using my Blendtec blender to make this and would highly recommend that you use one too – make the process so easy! However, you can use whatever blender or food processor that you have.
MASON JARS: I use large mason jars to store so much in from salsas, dressings and hot fudge sauce to crafts, markers and pens. These are great to have on hand for many kitchen uses.
MEASURING CUPS: Nothing beats a good set of measuring cups that last a long time. I love metal measuring cups because of their durability.
MEASURING SPOONS: I have to have a metal set of measuring spoons on hand. The plastic ones just don’t last long in our house thanks in large part to the garbage disposal.
