Melon & Mint Fruit Salad is a simple, refreshing mix. A light honey glaze and hint of mint perfectly balance the melons’ natural sweetness.

I love fruit salads—honestly, I’ve probably mentioned that a dozen times on the blog this month alone! But I truly enjoy experimenting with new combinations and love when they turn out even better than I imagined.
My Favorite Kitchen Tools To Make This Recipe
From trusty pots and pans to handy gadgets, I’ve curated a list of products I use and love.
This Melon & Mint Fruit Salad came together on a total whim. Melons are super affordable right now, so we’ve been serving them with almost every dinner.
One night, I decided to mix things up and try something a little different—and it ended up being a total win.

I love honeydew, but my kids are bigger fans of cantaloupe. One day, I had a little fresh mint left over from some drinks I was making, so I decided to dice it up and toss it over our chopped melon. It added a nice flavor, but something was missing.
The mint felt a little rough and didn’t quite blend with the fruit on its own. That’s when I remembered my go-to fruit salad trick—honey! I drizzle it on almost all of my fruit mixes, and it ended up being the perfect touch to tie the mint and melon together.

Another reason I love this Melon & Mint Fruit Salad is how far it goes—just two melons can feed a crowd. Even with my family of seven, we usually end up with leftovers!
While I do save the extras in the fridge for a quick sweet snack, this salad is definitely best fresh. So if we still have some after dinner, I walk it over to my neighbor’s house—and they always love it too
