Ingredients

  • 12 egg whites whisked
  • 6 cups French bread cubed
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 cup smoked Gouda cheese shredded, you may use another white cheese if desired
  • 10 slices bacon cooked and chopped
  • 4 ounces fresh spinach chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Prepare 1 quart baking dish by spraying non-stick cooking spray on the sides and bottom of the pan; set aside.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk egg whites, milk, cheese, bacon, and spinach and season with salt and pepper. Whisk until well combined, add in bread and stir until all the bread is wet.
  • Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for a couple minutes, then serve. Enjoy!
