Ingredients

Brownies

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 1/4 water
  • 2 eggs

Hot Fudge Sauce

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • OR
  • 12 ounce jar of pre-made hot fudge sauce
  • 3/4 cup hot water

Topping

  • vanilla ice cream
  • more hot fudge of course!

Instructions

  • Grease your slow cooker generously with cooking oil. Set aside.
  • If you are going to make your own hot fudge (which I strongly suggest as it only takes 10 minutes and is SO MUCH tastier) prepare hot fudge sauce. Click here for directions.
  • In a large mixing bowl add brownie mix, oil, 1/4 cup water, and eggs until well combined
  • Pour batter into the slow cooker.
  • Whisk together 12 ounces of hot fudge sauce and 3/4 cup hot water until combined and smooth. Pour over the brownie batter in the slow cooker. Top slow cooker with lid and cook on high for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until the edges are cooked.
  • Hayley mentions the center will be gooey and that is how it should be. Trust me, you want the center gooey it is oh, so good.
  • Serve immediately, top with ice cream and additional hot fudge if you desire.
  • Grab a spoon and devour!
