Eggnog Caramel Sauce

This Eggnog Caramel Sauce is a decadently rich holiday staple. It can be used in all sorts of dishes. It's the perfect way to cozy up on a cold wintry day.

  • 1/4 cup butter ½ stick
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup eggnog
  • pinch of salt


  • Add all of the ingredients to a medium sauce pan over medium-low heat.
  • Let it cook while constantly whisking it, for about 5-7 minutes, or until it starts to thicken.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Serve immediately or pour in a mason jar and refrigerate for later.
