Mouthwatering 7 Layer Dip is always a huge hit at barbecues, get-togethers and gameday gatherings, layering your favorite dip ingredients onto one plate.

Ingredients

  • 32 ounces refried beans
  • 1 cup mild salsa
  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1/3 cup cilantro finely chopped
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 3 avocados diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 3 green onions finely diced
  • 1/2 cup sliced olives
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes I used cherry

Instructions

  • Begin by mixing canned refried beans with salsa, preferably spicy, to add extra flavor. Once mixed, spread the bean-salsa mixture into the bottom of a casserole dish, I used 7×11″ size.
  • Make your taco sour cream, by combining your sour cream with 3 tablespoons of taco seasoning. Mix and spread over the beans.
    **If you are making this for a later time and not eating it right away, I would make the guacamole layer first, and then the sour cream, for presentation, I prefer sour cream first then the guac.
  • Make super simple guacamole with fresh ingredients. However, if you’re in a hurry, you can buy pre-made guacamole instead. Trust me, fresh ingredients will taste better.
    Start with your avocados, salt, granulated garlic, fresh cilantro, and lime. Mix together in a bowl & spread over the sour cream layer.
  • Add a layer of finely shredded cheese on top.
  • Dice your cherry tomatoes or whatever tomatoes you have on hand, and scatter all over the top.
  • To finish, top the dish with sliced black olives and green onions. Remember to keep it refrigerated until you’re ready to serve.
