This Taco Ranch Dressing is so easy to make, and it’s ready in just 5 minutes. It will add a tasty southwestern flare to all of your favorite summer salads.

Taco Ranch Dressing

This is the time of the year that I eat a ton of salads. One, because I am quickly realizing I will be at the pool with the kids in less than a month. Also, because I am not a big beef or meat eater. So when grill season comes along I always have a salad to go with our meal, and the meat ALWAYS ends on up on top of my salad.

My husband and kids love ranch. I would also say that “love” is an understatement. They are obsessed with ranch. My husband, in fact, will judge a restaurant by their ranch. If we are trying a restaurant for the first time he will ask to sample their ranch, this determines most of the time if we stay or not. It used to embarrass me, now I just embarrass us because I have found this method to work.

  1. First of all, I LOVE your new site, Sandra! It’s gorgeous, so streamlined and perfect for you. I hope you love it, too! Second, I adore this ranch dressing. I love taco salads and always typically use salsa for my dressing, but this will become my new favorite!

  2. I made this, but threw in 2 whole jalapenos, 3 scallions, and a handful of spinach – it packed a bite and was super flavorful. The cilantro is a must. Instantly one of my favorite dressing ever.

  3. This was so good but I had to add about 1/4 cup of taco sauce a ton of mayo and flour to thicken it up. I wanted it to be the consistency of a dip and it came out like soup (probably had something to do with using a whisk instead of a blender…oops lol) but overall it was great! Thank you I’ve been looking for a ranch taco dip since my grocery store stopped carrying the only ranch sauce in town!

WAY too salty and too much ranch and taco seasonings. I took out about 1/2 cup and mixed it with more sour cream, cilantro and lime juice and added some chopped parmesan cheese ( I know that sounds weird, but it works)
