Summer Picnic Recipes & Ideas – Create a moment that everyone will remember. Sweet Touches to gorgeous dishes, this will be the ultimate picnic.
I love the idea of having a picnic with my family. And when the kids were little we did these all the time. Weekly I would meet a group of friends and we’d let the kids play, we would visit and the kids would feast upon Gold Fish, PB&J, and Capri Suns. And while those days are long gone, my kids still love to head to the park and play kickball, softball, frisbee golf and etc. So we could still have a picnic but the idea of what to take and pack up – I am always at lost.
What makes a great picnic anyway? Is it the blanket? food? location? To me anymore it is about sitting down, chatting on a big fluffy blanket and eating delicious catered like a meal. And while I am thinking about this – it would even make a fun date night. Right?
So here are some delicious recipes, gorgeous landscape ideas and of course you need drinks, to help get your perfect set-up for a picnic ready to go. I’m excited to try a few of these for a date night with the hubs. Old school idea? Well, I can’t wait. Bringing back the romance. XOXO San
