Today I am celebrating with my friend Hayley for her amazing book launch of Out of the Box Desserts! This book is amazing! It perfectly resembles Hayley.

When we first got out book my kids went through and book marked everything they wanted to make. I think there were only a dozen not marked, everything else they plan on making. And what I love about the recipes is that my kids could help me with every single one. Everyone of these desserts are mouthwatering and so easy to make.

I met Hayley through blogging and what I grew to love about her is her edge, she is always pushing the envelope. She is real and with every recipe she lets you in her inner circle. Before I even met her for the first time, I felt like we were long lost friends. She is sweet, caring and authentic.

I remember she posted on Facebook a while back that she didn’t have a good bundt pan and that everyone she tried was terrible. I of course sent her my favorite bundt cake pan and now check out how amazing she is at those cakes with this Damn Good Chocolate Cake. YUM! Hayley rocks it out in the Out of the Box Desserts cook book and I feel blessed to be able to share it with you today.

How do you make Hot Fudge Slow Cooker Brownies?

Grease your slow cooker generously with cooking oil. Set aside.

If you are going to make your own hot fudge (which I strongly suggest as it only takes 10 minutes and is SO MUCH tastier) prepare hot fudge sauce. Click here for directions.

In a large mixing bowl add brownie mix, oil, 1/4 cup water, and eggs until well combined

Pour batter into the slow cooker.

Whisk together 12 ounces of hot fudge sauce and 3/4 cup hot water until combined and smooth. Pour over the brownie batter in the slow cooker. Top slow cooker with lid and cook on high for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until the edges are cooked.

Hayley mentions the center will be gooey and that is how it should be. Trust me, you want the center gooey it is oh, so good.

Serve immediately, top with ice cream and additional hot fudge if you desire.

Grab a spoon and devour!

  3. Can this recipe be doubled? If so, does that change the cooking time? I have a 7 quart slow cooker and this sounds great for a crowd..

    1. I have never doubled this recipe and not sure how it would turn out. If you try it I would say yes, you would need to increase the time but not sure you would double it. San
