The days of the brown paper bag with a smashed up PB&J, crumbled chips and a bruised apple are over! The fad of the Lunchable is gone.
Now maybe this is because I am in my 30’s and my palate has developed over the years, but I just can’t stomach packing something like that any more…at least for me.
Now the kids, well PB&J didn’t kill me, and well it won’t kill them. Although, I have one little one that thinks it will, she requires a more “sophisticated” lunch.

So I created a collection on Foodie.com – called Lunch Box Envy, this is a collection of recipes that have a unique twist on lunch ideas. The ideas range from on-the-go, to taking some of your traditional favorites and adding a twist, healthy versions of some of my favorite meals and some sweet endings.

Now, my husband is really the one I pack lunches for now, but of course I eat the leftovers at home. Deliciousness!!!
I would like to note that these recipes are not only husband approved, but kid approved as well.
I will be adding to this collection, so come back every once in a while and see what we have added.

Enjoy from our paper sack to yours.
XOXO San
